Taiwo Aina is a visual storyteller and filmmaker who specializes in documentary stories and creative portraiture based in Abuja, Nigeria. Taiwo graduated from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria with a degree in Agricultural economics. Taiwo currently creates works around daily life experiences, women, agriculture, and entrepreneurship. Taiwo is interested in capturing beautiful moments. She loves to travel and discover new cultures while interacting with people, and broadening her knowledge.
Taiwo is a professional member of the African Photojournalism Database (APJD), a joint project by World Press Photo and Everyday Africa, Up next member of Diversify photo, Black Women Photographers, Natives Photograph. She had her first solo exhibition titled «Game of Confidence», a project on female boxers at Alliançe Français Lagos in 2022.
